So far so good

Well everything is going just swell!

I've come to realize the family must have had students before because they have served fries almost every night and there are some "homestay" gifts on the walls in the house.

I had to decline the shrimp with eyes and legs - it was just too much for me, but at least I tried it!*

We took of tour of Poitiers on Sunday- very religiously historic! Google it.

The French course is spoken all in French without any English (because not everyone speaks English). We have students from Poland, Russia, Indonesia, Spain, Slovenia, Germany, Great Britain and of course the good ole' USA. Its cool to get a chance to speak to them about sterotypes and just anything at all either in French or English.

I'm super excited since I'll be going to a MIKA concert on teh 16th being that its the HUGE music festival (Francofoloie) in La Rochelle this month. Plus everything in the shops is also on sale (soldes) because their sale month is July.

This country is incredible and everything I've read or done in class was great but uncomparable to the first hand experience.

I can't wait to see what else is just aroudn the corner....
